Dearest Lauren & Brian,
WOW! What a stunning celebration you pulled off - from the luscious flower arrangements, spilling over with blush colored peonies, white ranunculus and garden roses. To the gold flatware set atop blush table linens, flanking the gold and ivory china. And let's not forget THE Franklin! Every detail was perfectly paired to create a classic and unforgettable day!
I loved how Brian simply could not take his eyes off of you during the first look. We have so many photographs where Lauren is looking away or chatting with a friend and Brian, you are just staring at your beautiful bride, soaking her (and the moment) in as if it were a sweet dream. And Lauren, you never stopped smiling from the moment I saw you, even as the skies threatened rain. I believe with all my heart that a snow storm could have blown in and Lauren's smile wouldn't fall a centimeter!
As if photographing the lovely details were not enough, your friends were FABULOUS and your families were absolutely ADORABLE! I never heard a sincere complaint about the oppressive heat and blazing sun (though there were many jokes!). Everyone took their dripping wedding attire well in stride and never missed a step. Truth be told, I think a few may have taken advantage of the already-sweaty situation as a free ticket to ripping it up in full force on the dance floor!
If I were to sum up your wedding in a single word, it would be joyful. It was a truly joyful day. I have never seen a bride and groom that were so happy and so genuinely in love. You are a special couple to Kirk and I, and we wish you all the joy in years to come that you shared on your wedding day.
PS, If your father ever wishes to part ways with that gorgeous Franklin that he painstakingly restored, you have my number...!
